The railway
was built to service the needs of farmers and residents of the Buderim
district. It enabled farm produce, fruit, timber etc. to access
Brisbane via the main line at Palmwoods.
The first tram ran in 1914 and the last in 1935.
The walk described covers points of interest along the Buderim Village
section of the Historic Buderim to Palmwoods tramway track.
